Sounds like a ghoul’s dessert.
Philip Guston (nee Goldstein) is my all-time favorite painter. His later work consists of anti-semitic themes like the KKK and piles of tangled legs reminiscent of Holocaust graves. And Jewish themes like the random eyeball-head facing the sky, asking why, looking for God, or looking downward, inward.
In college I made a painting that represents to me the Holocaust:
